Curiosity brought me here. Understanding is what keeps me going.

I've always been curious about why people are the way they are.

Why we think what we think. Why we repeat certain habits. Why we believe some things about ourselves and question others.

And I've come to appreciate just how much we can learn from people who have lived different lives, made different choices and arrived at different understandings.

The thing that interests me most isn't necessarily what somebody has achieved.

It's who they were before, what shaped their journey, what changed their thinking and who they've become as a result.

I find those stories fascinating.

And when I come across an idea that helps make sense of something complicated about life, I enjoy trying to make it simple enough to understand and useful enough to remember.

That's what Look At You Now is about.

I'm not interviewing people because I think they have the definitive answers to life.

I'm having these conversations because I believe their experiences can help us ask better questions about our own lives.

Sometimes those conversations will challenge an assumption. Sometimes they'll explain a behaviour. Sometimes they'll offer a practical idea worth trying.

And sometimes they'll simply leave us thinking.

I think there's value in all of that.

I'm learning as I go, and I'd love for you to be part of that journey.

Because the more we understand ourselves, the more intentionally we can choose how we live.
